The Turtle Reef Club is located on Hutchinson Island on the Treasure Coast of Florida. The area is known for its abundance of quiet
beaches and family atmosphere. Each spring, the Sea Turtles return to their nesting spots on the beach to lay their eggs. In late
summer, the eggs begin to hatch. It's always a fascinating experience to watch. Plenty of activities abound in the area including
water sports, family attractions, museums, shopping, deep sea fishing, golfing and spectator sports.
Resort Amenities include:
If you're ready to visit the beautiful beach, you'll see in image #4 that there's direct access to the beach from the back of the resort. The week that we were there, they were redoing the exterior and fixing some minor imperfections. You'll notice that the back of the building is two different colors in the picture. The yellowish color is the new color.
From the Turtle Reef Club website: Please be advised that our resort will be undergoing construction work commencing August 18, 2008 and will conclude on or about December 31, 2008. This work will be 100% exterior and will consist of the following components: power washing, concrete repair, and repainting.
Images #7 through #9 are of the living room and the gorgeous view from our room. Off of the living room and master bedroom is the screened-in balcony (image #10). All the rooms were very nice and comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay and I'd suggest the Turtle Reef Club to anyone looking to stay on Hutchinson Island on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
